Successful Capping of the Macondo Well
Six Gearn Offshore winches were involved in the Top Kill, successful Static Kill, and other recovery efforts during the 2010 Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico. We had a team in Corpus Christi and our engineers working behind the scenes to retrofit a well test vessel intended to process the fluids from the relief well.
